Keto brownies

Brownies are one of the most tastiest delights to the tongue craved by children as well as adults who love a bite of moist fudgy chocolate treats. Being on a keto diet does not take away your rights to these mouthwatering delicacies! Keto brownies are very easy to make and taste nothing less than your regular brownies.

1/3 cup melted butter

1 cup almond flour

2 eggs

2/3 cup granulated erythritol or xylitol

¼ cup cocoa powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

2/3 cup walnut pieces (optional)

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C (350 degrees F)
  2. Add butter, erythritol, cocoa powder, and salt to a microwave-safe bowl.
  3. Microwave the ingredients and whisk at small intervals to blend the mixture and keep its consistency.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool.
  5. Crack an egg and continue whisking. Add in the second egg once the mixture has been mixed well with the first egg. Continue whisking until the texture appears smooth. Avoid over-whisking to maintain the fudginess of your brownies.
  6. Add in the almond flour and whisk until all the ingredients have blended.
  7. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and bake the mixture for 20-25 minutes. Baking time depends on the sweetener used. Xylitol generally requires longer baking than erythritol.
  8. Check your brownies for their moistness after 15 minutes, by inserting a toothpick at the centre.
  9. Garnish with walnuts or any ingredient of your choice and allow the brownie to cool.
  10. Cut to your desired shape and size, serve and enjoy!
