Keto dosa and coconut chutney

A dosa is basically a crepe with an Indian twist to it. A keto dosa is made of almond flour and tastes just as good a regular dosa. This low-carb dosa can be eaten with a keto-friendly coconut chutney on the side to relive the wholesome delicacy of Indian flavours.


For dosa –

1/8 cup almond flour

1/8 cup shredded cheese

1/10 cup coconut milk

Salt to taste

½ tsp cumin powder (optional)

½ tsp Asafoetida (optional)

1 tbsp keto-approved oil


For coconut chutney –

3/4 cup grated coconut

2 tbsp ginger

1 green chilly

1 tbsp coconut oil (optional)

1 tsp curry leaves

½ tsp mustard seeds

1 dry red chilli

Salt to taste



Directions –

For dosa –

  1. Blend all the ingredients together in a blender to form a smooth batter.
  2. Heat oil in a pan on medium flame and spread it all over the pan.
  3. Pour in the batter.
  4. Once the bottom has browned and the batter has cooked well, fold the dosa and remove from pan.
  5. Serve with keto coconut chutney and enjoy!

Directions - 
For coconut chutney -

  1. In a blender, blend the coconut, green chilly, salt, ginger, and some water to make your chutney.
  2. Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium flame.
  3. Add in the mustard seeds, dried red chilli, and curry leaves.
  4. When the mustard seeds start popping, pour in the oiled mixture over the chutney and mix well.
  5. Serve with keto dosa and enjoy!
