Keto naan

A low-carb keto naan bread is made using blanched almond flour and can be eaten on its own or with curries, salads, and soups for a fulfilling Indian meal. They’re soft, delicious, and super easy to make, bake, and devour!

Ingredients –

1.5 cups blanched almond flour

3 cups mozzarella cheese

2 eggs

2 tbsp greek yogurt (full-fat, recommended)

2 tbsp butter

½ tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp baking powder (low-carb)

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped


Directions –

  1. Preheat the oven to 191 degrees C (375 degrees F)
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, add in the cheese and yogurt.
  3. Heat in a microwave for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until melted and smooth.
  4. In another bowl, stir in the almond flour, baking powder, and eggs.
  5. Add in this mixture to the cheese mixture and mix well.
  6. This will give rise to a doughy consistency.
  7. Knead the dough with your hands and form into a ball.
  8. Cut the ball into six even sections.
  9. Give each section the shape of a flat naan
  10. Place the naans on a baking dish and bake in an oven for 8-10 minutes.
  11. Once you see golden brown spots on the naan breads, remove them.
  12. In a bowl, add in the butter, garlic, powder, and parsley. Mix well.
  13. Brush this mixture over the naan breads.
  14. Return the naan to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  15. Serve and enjoy!
