Low-carb creamy garlic shrimp

Shrimps are one of the best type of seafood that can be consumed while on a keto diet. They are extremely keto-friendly and are rich in various carb-free nutrients that are highly essential for the well-functioning of the human body. A low-carb creamy garlic shrimp is a tastefully appetizing keto dish for a blissful experience at any time of your day.


1 tbsp olive oil (or any of your favourite keto-friendly oil)

250g shrimp

1 tbsp unsalted butter

3-4 tsp garlic, minced

½ cup chicken broth (or) beef broth (or) vegetable broth

¾ cup heavy whipping cream

4 tbsp cream cheese

1 tbsp parsley, chopped

1 zucchini, spiralized (optional)

Salt and pepper



  1. Prepare the zucchini and let it drain.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  3. Sear the shrimp over the pan and season them with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the shrimp for 2 minutes until they’re perfectly cooked on both sides and pink in colour. Set the shrimp aside.
  5. Melt butter on the pan over medium flame and stir garlic until fragrant.
  6. Add in the broth and bring the flame to a simmer.
  7. Add the whipping cream and cream cheese and stir until well-combined.
  8. Toss in the zucchini and add the shrimp. Mix well.
  9. Garnish the creamy garlic shrimp with parsley.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
