Low-carb Korean beef rice bowl

A low-carb Korean beef rice bowl makes use of cauliflower rice and well-seasoned ground beef, delicious and easy to make. This dish is very low in carbs and hence, makes a super tasty keto-friendly meal for an amazing lunch or fulfilling dinner, especially when you’re craving for some Korean cuisine.


1 pound ground beef

1 pound riced cauliflower

2 tbsp keto-friendly oil

1 tsp salt

1/8 tsp black pepper

4 garlic cloves, minced

¼ cup coconut aminos

¼ cup beef broth

2 tsp sesame oil

¼ tsp ground ginger

¼ tsp red pepper flakes, crushed

¼ cup green onions, sliced

1 tsp sesame seeds


Directions –

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium flame.
  2. Add in the cauliflower rice and season it with salt and pepper.
  3. Sauté well for 4 minutes until cooked. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add in the coconut aminos, beef broth, sesame oil, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  5. Whisk to form a smooth sauce.
  6. Heat another tablespoon of oil on the pan over medium flame.
  7. Add in the beef and season with salt.
  8. Break the beef apart and cook well for 10 minutes.
  9. Pour the sauce over the beef and bring flame to simmer.
  10. Stir well and ensure the sauce thickens.
  11. Divide the rice into 4 bowl and top with beef equally.
  12. Garnish with green onions. Serve and enjoy!
